Family

Dan and Heidi are the first Open Bible members sent as missionaries. They have been serving in the Philippines since 2014. When we sent them out, their son Isaac was only 10 and now he is an adult living back in the States. God blessed them with a daughter born in 2016. Abigail became legally theirs after a long adoption process that finally ended in 2023.

 

The Wrights have been raising up local leaders, making disciples, and planting churches across classes in the Philippines. They continue to train and support two house churches and three church plants in lower socio-economic and squatter areas. You can learn more about their churches by clicking the link below!

They have been involved in pre-natal clinics, community clinics, kid’s programs, livelihood projects, and many Bible studies. They have been posting in a group daily for over a decade about their family and ministry. Join their group and pray with us.

Team OASIS

 

By God’s grace, the Wrights have formed a church planting team with local Filipino missionaries. You can view their vision, mission, and strategy here.

Edson joined the team in February 2017 and is heavily involved in discipleship and forming leaders. He works with the elders-in-training in the church plants and fosters young men in his home.

 

Nolan and Tet joined the team in January 2023 and continue to be a blessing with their many gifts and talents. Nolan is an elder in a church and contributes creatively with music and design. Tet keeps the team organized and happy and does lots of translation work.
